Susan Olson, President Susan Olson is Secretary of the Board of Directors of Awakening Entelechy, a 501(c)3 non-profit founded in California in 2009 to promote cultural transformation by cultivating, supporting, promoting, managing, and funding schools inspired by Waldorf education. Susan has served for six years as the Executive Director of the Sebastopol Independent Charter School, a K-8 Waldorf-inspired school in Sebastopol, CA. Previously, she served as the Administrator of the Pasadena Waldorf School. Susan earned her BA in Political Science and Education from Carleton College; an MA in Geography/African studies from UCLA; and MS in Human Resource Design and Organizational Psychology from Claremont Graduate University; and a Foundation Studies certificate in Waldorf Education from New England Waldorf Teacher Training Center. She is a founding board member of the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education, a national network of public Waldorf schools and educators. Susan currently serves as the north coast region Member Council Representative of the California Charter Schools Association. |

Steve Bossio, CFO/Treasurer Steve Bossio is a financial consultant with over ten years of financial consulting to charter schools. He served as CFO of Woodland Star Charter School from 2004-2009, responsible for budget development and forecasting, fiscal management, including annual audits, and reporting to local, county and state agencies. Steve served on the Woodland Star board from 2000-2009, including a term as President, Chair of the Finance Committee and as Lead Developer in the school’s 2003 authorizer transition. He earned his BS in Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo. |

Terri Ellis, Vice President Terri Ellis is an Organizational Development professional with over fifteen years experience in consulting to schools, nonprofits and corporations. Her work includes personal and executive coaching, training design and delivery, culture measure and analysis, facilitation of complex issues, change management and strategy clarification and implementation. Terri has worked extensively with schools, school systems, healthcare, executive and leadership teams, manufacturing and financial services organizations. Terri earned her BA in Psychology from Prescott College, her MA in Psychology from the Institute of Imaginal Studies and is completing her Ph.D. in Psychology from Meridian University. |

Sam Turner, Director and Facilities Manager Sam Turner is a licensed General Contractor and President of Gracie Construction, Inc. Sam earned his BS in Business and Marketing from Skidmore College and has worked toward an International Business MBA at St. Mary’s College. He has been the manager of many prestigious building projects, including The Presentation School in Sonoma, Nicholson Ranch Winery and the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art. Sam is experienced in all aspects of commercial and residential construction. For two years he has served as Facilities Manager on Credo's Development Team. Sam is the father of three—a toddler and two Waldorf students. |

Barbara Vrankovich, EdD, JD Barbara Vrankovich, EdD, JD, is an education attorney, specializing in labor and employment law. In July of 2011, she retired as Superintendent of the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District, a district where she spent 36 years as an elementary, middle school and high school English, social science, and reading teacher, co-authored an award-winning early literacy program, and served as an administrator at the site level and district levels in a number of capacities, including as superintendent for four years. During her tenure as superintendent, Barbara received Credo High School's charter petition and worked with the school developers to authorize Credo. Upon her retirement from the district, Barbara joined the Credo board because she recognized what a valuable educational asset the school is to Sonoma County. She earned her BA in History, her teaching credential from CSU Hayward, her doctorate in education from U.C. Berkeley, and her law degree from Empire College of Law in Santa Rosa where she graduated cum laude. |
